The patients
The sole chiropractor in the practice treats about 150 patients per week and has a very high standard of customer care. This practice is a true family chiropractic practice with many newborn and elderly patients and everyone in between on the patient list.
The staff
The practice benefits from 3 excellent and well trained CA's who have been with the practice for almost 10 years. They work part time but the office is staffed from 8.30-7.30 each week day.
There are also 2 self-employed massage therapists who occupy 1 of the treatment rooms and see both chiropractic and non-chiropractic patients.
The lease
The property holds a long lease until 2021 with 5 yearly break clauses. It is reasonably priced at £13,000 per year, being £3,250 per quarter.
Potential
The chiropractor currently works the following hours:
Mon 9-1, 3-7; Tues 9-1, 3-7; Wed 9-1; Thurs 2-7; Fri 9-1, 3-7.
There is potential within the practice to extend the treatment hours if an associate was appointed. This would make it possible to increase the patient base further. There is currently no Saturday morning clinic, which would be successful, particularly given the fantastic high street location.
