Career in a nutshell

I joined Kelsall Steele in 1991 (yes I am that old and have been here all my life!), originally working on various aspects of Accounts and Audit.  I then went on to specialise in Sage training and overseeing the Management Accounts team.  I have a wide range of experience in Accounts, Management Accounts, Taxation, Sage and Quickbooks products for small and medium sized business across a range of industries.  I became Assistant Manager in December 2007

The best thing I have ever done

Getting married!  Also doing a tandem parachute jump from 13,000 ft, a bungy jump and scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef - never a dull moment.
I'm now about to take a 6 month sabbattical off work (after the hard work of 20 years before) to go travelling around the world with my husband. Also, having the courage at age 36 to get train track style braces fitted!

Certificates on the wall

The usual GSCE's and A-Levels but no professional ones. But way more experience than most and that counts for a lot!

Life outside of work

I love holidays and travelling, sailing, skiing, walking, gardening, cooking, eating out, reading, socialising with friends and the odd glass or two of wine here and there!  Also spending time with family including my 4 step-children and 4 step-grandchildren!

On holiday seeing the big wide world... (and liked by people too!)
